Patrolman William B. Heaney (badge #2761)

Patrolman William B. Heaney (badge #2761), the son of Patrick Heaney and Mary Amelia Howard, was born on July 23, 1887. He married Mary Josephine Brennan in 1912 and lived with his new bride at 717 Prospect Place, Brooklyn. He had been on the job only two months when gangster Oresto Shillitani shot him three times, killing him almost instantly.
