Plans for the City Farm included a reception hospital for 60 patients; four cottages (each to accommodate 25 patients); buildings to furnish light, heat and power; laundry and kitchen buildings; and a recreation building with a reading room and gymnasium. Later plans included a chapel, administrative buildings, and numerous workshops.
