1912: Chief John Rush and Victor, the Fire Horse That Lost it on Varick Street » New York City Fire Museum
Victor was attached to Engine Company No. 30, which was stationed in this 1904 firehouse at 278 Spring Street. On the day of the funeral for John Rush, Victor stood outside the station with the firemen while the procession passed by. Today this is the home of the New York City Fire Museum.
