Tom reportedly loved the rain and taking dips in the City Hall Park fountain, which was designed by Jacob Mould in 1871. The ornate granite fountain was disassembled in 1920 and shipped to Crotona Park in the Bronx. New York Public Library (Image ID: 804901)
