Wallabout Bay

This engraving from 1847 depicts the view of the Wallabout Bay, the Wallabout Turnpike, and the Brooklyn Navy Yard from the vantage point of what was then called Washington Park. Today this entire area is occupied by the former Brooklyn Navy Yard.
